Hi, I play old tyme fiddle music and step dance and I just started to learn chording. I had never heard of you before until yesterday when I was looking on Troy MacGillivray's website and I randonmly clicked on one of the names on it and it was yours. I listened to one of the tracks on your cd(#1) and I love it so much! I really love piano chording the Cape Breton way if that's what it's called! I take lessons from Chrissy Leahy and I can't wait until I can play it as good as you! But that'll take a while! I think it's so neat when you play the melody in the right hand and then whatever you call it in the left. It's so confusing I find the different patterns/rhythm things you do. How do you know what chords to go to and the different patterns and stuff? It's so cool! I've heard people chord for old time fidle music and the way you do it is so much better and more interesting. I really want to see one of your shows. You have so many shows this year! My family and I have a band"Everything Fitz" and we're just sort of starting to do a lot of shows. We're touring next year in Saskatchewan and Alberta ad we're going to Branson Missouri I think next year and some other places in the states. I really want to perform when I grow up. The entire cd is FABULOUS, but I am in love with the B Flat Air and am on a quest to find the sheet music for myself. Mac, I had the opportunity to see you play several times while I was in Cape Breton on holiday earlier this month and must say that you have turned me on to Cape Breton style piano accompaniment.
